Workshop Time!

Next workshop is Saturday July 7th from 1 to 5 pm at Denny's in Fresno on Herndon Ave.  I will demonstrate the brayer technique that will produce this beautiful card.

You can join along to make this card or bring your own project(s)!  All are welcome for fun, food and frivolity :)

Supplies needed for the brayer card: (don't have a StampinUP! catalogue? order $50 from me and receive a catalogue free! Click the shop now icon or visit http://www.lifesmoments.stampinup.net/)

First Things First

I did not post the inside of my Red, White and Blue I Miss You card... (blasphemous)  One must always remember its the inside that counts :)
Besides it is the cute little birds that I want to show off.  And to top it off look what else this great little stamp set has... I love this little wagon complete with flowers.  I also glittered up the bird's belly with dazzling diamonds.  I used the same flowers to embellish the sentiment on the front, turned out so lovely.
The stamp set is "For the Birds".  The papers are Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Cajun Craze card stock as well as Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper all from Stampinup! (supplies and ID#'s are listed below)
I used my new Chevron embossing folder love the way it complimented my paper design. And wait until you see the new die cuts!  I used Floral Frames Framelits to cut out my flower and my wagon.  Not to forget the inside!
I repeated the design on the small framelits die cut and added dazzling diamonds, turned out so fun!  Boy I am lovin' this new StampinUP! catalogue and all the new stamps, dies, papers and embellishments.  I may have to employ a maid to clean house...because I just do not have time for that nonsense :)

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you stop in again, I love to have you visit!

Name Change and of course a CARD

Well it was inevitable.  The name change I mean.  So an explanation is in order. My blog started as a personal endeavor (without stampin') therefore the title was a play on the most fashionable word ending at the time;  if you took notice, anything and everything ended in "licious".  My husband and I chuckled at this nonsense and I decided I would name my blog after my dog... yep, my dog, Eleanor.  Whose nick name is Ellie which, that's right, evolved into Ellalicious. The "Elements" was added to "tone it down a bit".  Weeell, I tried to post a card from my blog to Pinterest the other day and ... you guessed it; Pinterest said the name was a little shady and suspicious and was not going to let me post the darn thing.  Now, I had to laugh, out loud.  But that was when I realized that the name sounded a little risque and not a whole lot like a stampin' blog.  Hence, Stampin' Paradise was born. Now let's just hope "paradise (as in tropical)" doesn't create waves (a little pun there)  :)

On to the card!!  This card made me feel 1930's  French!  I love all the new stamps in my Stampinup! catalogue and this is just one of them.  I hope you love it also.  I call it my French Passion! (the name of the stamp set is Postage Due; I think they should let me name the stamp sets!)
