A short vacation from the internet but not from card making!

It is time to start our Christmas Cards!  A group of us will gather at the end of August and September to share card making ideas and techniques.  Here are a few designs.

The card stock is Shimmery White #101910, the ink is Cherry Cobbler#126966.  I used the Betsy's Blossom stamp set #126006.  And even though it is not a Christmas stamp it works very well.

I did use clear and white embossing powder.

Don't forget the inside of the card, the next most important part...

This next card is from the same template but using Brushed Gold cardstock #102935 and Island Indigo #122923.  The Stamp set is Festive Flurry #131781 and the wonderful new dies to cut them out#132193 (I love dies...).   I also used white embossing powder and my trusty Versa Mark pen to make the lines that I embossed.

And before I forget... the new candy dots from stampinup! in all the ink colors, yeah!  #130931,130934,130933,130932.  I used the scallop oval punch #119856 and the modern label punch #119849

The final sample for today is another snowflake from the Festive Flurry which is probably my favorite for the moment :)

The cardstock is Shimmery White #101910 and Whisper White #100730.  The ink is Pink Pirouette #126956 and Blushing Bride #131172.  I used the heat and stick powder #100625 and stampin glitter #102023 to give the snowflake a glittery affect. Topped it with a pearl and those handy candy dots.  Turned out beautiful.

Enjoy and I will be back again with more samples for your class in August and September.

Happy Crafting!  Leslie

Back again with another mini album.  I have indulged myself with Love Themed mini albums as of late.

This album is made from toilet paper rolls :0.  Many of you have probably seen this style on YouTube and I had to get on the band wagon.

The binding I used is called the hidden hinge designed by Kathy Orta.  You can find her on YouTube. The album is chip board covered with the designer paper and closes with a magnet (I am a magnet junkie...)

All the products used are from StampinUP!.  The paper is "More Amore" designer series paper and the colors are Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Real Red and Very Vanilla.  What makes this paper exceptionally nice is the Artisan Embellishment Kit that coordinates with the paper line. And to go one step further StampinUP! added a special stamp set with framelit dies.

Below is a list of products:

More Amore DSP  #129309  $12.95

Hearts A Flutter stamp set #129252 $18.95
Framelits Dies  #130159 $24.95
or buy them as a set as save #131097  $36.95

Artisan Embellishments Kit #129328  $9.95 ( the kit includes 2-designer tags, 4-designer ticket stubs, 18" scalloped lace, 18" cotton lace, 18" oval lace, 1 yd seam binding, 6 paper flowers, 1 resin heart, 2 resin flowers, 5 buttons, 1 heart doily and 1 round doily) quite the stash for $9.95!

Real Red card stock #102482 $6.95

Designer builder brads #129329 $6.95

Beautiful Winds Embosslits #118138 $11.95

Fashionable Hearts Embosslits #125596 $11.95

I hope you have enjoyed this little mini album and will stop by again!

Please visit my StampinUP! web site if you would like to purchase any of these items to make your own mini album!

Fan Fair

The new papers from the annual catalogue are extremely beautiful and I have had a wonderful time working with them.  I have been working on several projects at once and the one below is a paper bag mini album featuring the new paper line "Fan Fair".  I have not complete the album but it has a good start and I want to share the progress so far.  The album is the inspiration from a youtube tutorial by  steffogal1.

I have only just begun!  The wonderful thing is the tags are all a part of the paper and all I had to do was cut them out and layer them with complimentary paper.  There are a lot of pockets and tags for pictures and journaling.  Such fun!  Enjoy!
