Sweet Moments

I had sweet moments this weekend spent with my children and grandchildren.  My Granddaughter and I even made a card together!

I inked up the Blended Bloom again, it is a favorite and lends itself well to coloring.  I also used my paper piercing tool that adds just a bit more interest.

on the inside of the card I used the bordering blooms; one of StampinUP!'s new photopolymer stamp sets.

My Friend

I love the color combination.  Although, I love pastels and vintage it never fails I always fall for the vibrant colors!  I embossed with white embossing powder and sponged the orange onto the center of the flower .  I love the way it turned out.

Birthday Greetings

Making my own birthday cards is a treat.  No more running to the store hunting for that perfect card when I can create it myself!
I stamped the decorative paper with the flowers and cut them out with scissors, fun and easy.  I have not met a person yet that does not love to receive a hand made card.

The inside is just as important as the outside.

Thinking of You

Well, it has been an extremely long interval, but, it is now time to move forward.  I have missed my blog interaction and hope to  jump right back onto the band wagon.
StampinUP! has introduced many new products in the 2014-2015 Catalogue that I know you will enjoy.  To start, one of the many new products are the Blendabilities. For anyone who would love to have the capability of blending without the expense this is the product for you. They come in a set of 3 for a light, medium and dark selection. The blended bloom stamp is the perfect way to give them a try.

A short vacation from the internet but not from card making!

It is time to start our Christmas Cards!  A group of us will gather at the end of August and September to share card making ideas and techniques.  Here are a few designs.

The card stock is Shimmery White #101910, the ink is Cherry Cobbler#126966.  I used the Betsy's Blossom stamp set #126006.  And even though it is not a Christmas stamp it works very well.

I did use clear and white embossing powder.

Don't forget the inside of the card, the next most important part...

This next card is from the same template but using Brushed Gold cardstock #102935 and Island Indigo #122923.  The Stamp set is Festive Flurry #131781 and the wonderful new dies to cut them out#132193 (I love dies...).   I also used white embossing powder and my trusty Versa Mark pen to make the lines that I embossed.

And before I forget... the new candy dots from stampinup! in all the ink colors, yeah!  #130931,130934,130933,130932.  I used the scallop oval punch #119856 and the modern label punch #119849

The final sample for today is another snowflake from the Festive Flurry which is probably my favorite for the moment :)

The cardstock is Shimmery White #101910 and Whisper White #100730.  The ink is Pink Pirouette #126956 and Blushing Bride #131172.  I used the heat and stick powder #100625 and stampin glitter #102023 to give the snowflake a glittery affect. Topped it with a pearl and those handy candy dots.  Turned out beautiful.

Enjoy and I will be back again with more samples for your class in August and September.

Happy Crafting!  Leslie
